All in all, a peaceful flat in a convenient north London location allowing you swift access to Kings Cross, Angel, Camden or out of London.

Islington is a pleasant and popular London residential area known for a bustling nightlife, great theatre and some excellent restaurants. It offers an impressive range of playhouses to rival the West End's theatreland - Sadlers Wells, Alemeida, The King's Head, The Tower Theatre, Union Chapel, the O2 Academy, Islington Academy and The Garage are some of the theaters and music venues to enjoy locally. The Screen on the Green shows art house, mainstream and classic films. Well known attractions in the area include Camden Passage antiques market, Chapel Market Daily fruit & veg, The Dickens Museum, the London Canal Museum, Columbia Road flower market, Brick Lane, Broadway Market, Spitalfields and Pettycoat Lane.

Being on the edge of the City, this convenient location offers quick and easy access to most of the central London tourist attractions. Much loved by artists and city financiers alike the area offers vibrant restaurants, cafe's, music venues, bars and night life as well as renowned galleries hosting theatrical events. You will be charmed by Islington's narrow alleys and wide boulevards, it's well kept houses and streets, it's petit public squares and it's attractive blend of the trendy and down to earth.

This is a family friendly area too with some green open spaces to spend time in. You will find the V&A Museum of Childhood, the Geffrye Museum with a very good kidzone, Highbury Fields, London Fields and Clissold Park, not to mention De Beauvoir square. Newington has a children's cafe and there are lots of child friendly cafes in Newington Green too. Ramblers enjoy The New River Walk which follows a 17th Century aqueduct all the way into Hertfordshire.

The area around Angel, Upper Street and Essex Street is interesting and lively, with a wide range of cafes, bistros and restaurants. Some people say that some of the best eateries in London are located here. Visit some specialist retailers and fabulous little antique and junk shops selling collectibles. It’s a shopper’s paradise around here with a good, busy atmosphere - this is where you will find that original gift or souvenir. Islington High Street and surroundings also offers an impressive array of hotels, shops, sights and attractions, plus cafes, restaurants and pubs.

“The Angel” is a historic landmark that was originally an inn by a toll-gate, founded in the 1600’s. This was the first stage post outside the City of London and it is mentioned in Dickens’ Oliver Twist. This site may be a bank today, but the rich and fascinating traces of Olde London can still be found here.

Islington is well served by buses and trains affording quick and easy access to the City, the West End and neighbouring north London areas such as Highgate, Hampstead, Kentish Town, Camden and Finsbury Park. It's a quick and easy journey from Highbury and Islington Underground down to Oxford Street and Angel Underground is one stop away from King's Cross, St Pancras. This station boasts the longest escalator on the entire Underground, with 318 steps in total!
