A spacious loft in an interesting old warehouse building. Well presented and Bohemian, this is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy London. Light and airy with double warehouse doors, balcony, exposed brickwork, skylights and bags of quirky style.
The open plan space works well for a family or group of friends. There is both a seating and dining area. Much thought and attention has gone into the fabulous decor to make it a lovely inviting space with a sense of humour.
This apartment is a loft and does not have separate bedrooms as such but there are two private mezzanine levels with snug and cosy canvas walls.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker, washer, fridge and cooking utensils.
Shower room and wc.
Hoxton, Shoreditch and Old Street stations are equidistant and under 10 minutes away. All in zone travel 1.
Furnished and fully equipped including linen and towels, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, TV, DVD and internet.
The building is a former furniture factory and picture framing workshop, built around the turn of the last century. This is a fantastic Hoxton location with it's quick and easy access to the West End and the financial district on your doorstep. Head for the lively local street markets of Columbia Road, Brick Lane, Broadway Market, Spitalfields and Pettycoat Lane.
"This Hoxton loft rocks!" We rented this spacious, striking, eclectic and immaculately clean loft for a week. Huge windows letting in lots of light and air with gorgeous flower boxes full of colorful blooming flowers. The owners, who live next door, couldn't have been more helpful, real and gracious. Hoxton rocks! The location was excellent; both gritty and charming. If you are looking for a London experience that isn't about being a visitor than this is the place for you. Certainly we hopped on the clean, efficient tube and checked out the sights along the Thames. But mostly we enjoyed the locals neighborhood, featuring food from all over the world, a fine health food store and lovely, laid back pubs. Also, fascinating and diverse street markets are within walking distance . A tucked away park alive with children and dogs is just a few blocks away dotted with interesting shops and appealing cafes. The International Dog Sitters Conspiracy Richmond, VA July 2012
"Would stay again in a heart beat!" We stayed for 2 weeks and would return in a heart beat. The unit fit the 2 of us and our 2 nieces perfectly. The decor is devine! Beds were really comfortable. The kitchen was really well outfitted. It is a great location, close to a subway stop, and a really great neighbourhood. Owners were fantastic. If we ever return to London we will for sure stay there again! robshello, June 2012
"G-R-E-A-T" Stayed in this beautiful loft for 3 months. Very nice and uncomplicated owners. Very central located in the puls of Shoreditch. Hoxton Square just around the corner. Just perfect! DTK Zurich December 2011
"Incredibly Eclectic Loft" Our "loft" experience was incredible! The service was great; we were greeted, given a tour and were made aware of the various stores in the neighbourhood. There were also lots of tourist booklets and pamphlets available. The loft itself was amazing, like something out of a design magazine. As well as being artistically eclectic, it was large, very comfortable and we felt right at home. I particularly liked the tiny balcony that was accessed through the dining room window, very "Breakfast at Tiffany". We took as many pictures of the loft as we did some tourist sites. The loft is about a ten minute walk from the subway station, so getting around London was easy. gheinrich Orillia, Ontario, Canada August 2011
"Very eclectic and roomy with warm hosts and near fun restaurants" We had a great experience - such a large space and we loved the loft spaces where we could get away from each other but still be close by if needed:) The neighborhood is fun- perfect for young adults...maybe a little remote if you are doing a lot of site seeing, but we loved the vibe and felt very at home. It would be great if they had a cloths dryer, but that seems to be uncommon in European rentals! We would definitely stay there again:) Kojack Mill Valley, CA USA, August, 2011
The flat we were interested in wasn't available, so the agent suggested the loft rental...we would never have looked at it ourselves...all transactions went very well...agent was pleasant and professional and sent us everything we needed. The loft was incredible...we took more pictures of it than most of the tourist attractions...interesting design elements, very quirky...it was very comfortable and had lots of London information available...sleeping areas, bathroom and kitchen were all well equipped...loved everything about the place! "Inspiring loft with space and comfort" We loved our stay och was surpriced how nice the loft was. We spent more time there than we planned. Erland Beskow Stockholm, April 2011
"True London encounter" We were 6 adults and stayed for 3 nights. Fantastic atmosphere and convenient location. We were surprised by the amount of small details throughout the apartment that had all been well thought out. We loved the mez level bedrooms and everyone slept very well. The experience was a true London encounter. Would highly recommend to anybody seeking a dose of bohemian lifestyle. Traveller Riga, Latvia, December 2010
"Trendy spacious loft was perfect backdrop for vacation!" The loft was above and beyond our expectations. The loft with it's super cool decor, with every amenity we needed, and lots of room, was just the perfect place for myself and a few friends to stay while we were in London. The location was great, close to a tube stop, with lots of bars and food to choose from. The owners were so friendly and accommodating, and were available for help if we needed them. I would recommend this loft to anyone! Thanks for a great stay! Nadia Merola Toronto Canada, October 2010
"Feeling like at home!" The apartment is ideal, perfectly decorated in a vintage style, the photos show it as it is. It is well connected, just 10 minutes from Old Street Station and 20 from Liverpool St. Station and Shoreditch market. Located in Hoxton area, one of the liveliest of London. The apartment accommodates up to 8 people, has two double beds, one single and three sofa beds. The beds are on a mezzanine, but are fully accessible. In the kitchen there is everything you need, like in the bathroom; There are wifi, cable TV, stereo, dvd. There is at the disposal of the guests information about the city, books, board games, including a beautiful aquarium with fishes. Loft is very bright and well equipped, and warm. We loved it and recommend it. The owner, Dennis, lives next door and works downstairs, and it's very helpful and kind. Beatriz Valencia (Spain), May 2010

Hoxton is an East End neighbourhood close to Shoreditch and not far from the City of London. It is a hip and culturally diverse part of London and some say it's the coolest urban area of all. Head for the lively local street markets of Columbia Road flower market, Brick Lane, Broadway Market, Spitalfields and Pettycoat Lane. Much loved by artists and city financiers alike, this area offers vibrant restaurants, music venues, bars and night life as well as renowned galleries and museums - the Cube and Geffrye Museum being perhaps best known. The bars and clubs of Old Street and Hoxton Square attract a happy diverse crowd from suited City types to fashionistas and everyone in-between!
Alternatively take a leisurely stroll through the City to St Paul's, over the Millennium Bridge to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and have some lunch at The Tate Modern. Or head West and wonder around antique Bloomsbury, explore the wonderful treasures of the British Museum and pop in at one of the four Inns of Court to get a feel for medieval London. If you are feeling energetic there are many cycle paths along the canals which are great for poodling around on a lazy Sunday with a pit stop at the local pub.
Got to do some work? The City and Liverpool Street are not far away and neighboring areas such as Shoreditch and Whitechapel offer up their own selection of culture, eateries, shops and cafe's. Whitechapel with it's infamous Jack the Ripper connections still has several pubs open today that were frequented by the locals in those terrible Ripper years. The Ten Bells and The Blind Beggar, for example. There are many excellent walking tours to be enjoyed in the East End which are interesting, informative and fun, The Whitechapel Art Gallery is also worth a visit. There excellent train and tube connections from here plus 24hr bus links for easy access to surrounding areas and the West End.
Explore and take in the cultural and historical wealth of this interesting and vibrant part of London's East End with it's markets, galleries, shops and pubs. Olde London is all around you if you look carefully enough…the play Romeo and Juliet was performed in Hoxton in the 1500's and they say that Shakespeare himself was one of the actors.
Hoxton's location is fairly central in East London, so it is well positioned for getting around. You can walk easily from here to Shoreditch or The City. Hoxton Station is served by London Overground and you are close to Old Street Underground station here too which has good connections.
