This part of leafy Bloomsbury is a hop, skip and a jump from many delights. Tranquil garden squares are on your doorstep as is the green expanse of Regent’s Park - sit down and watch the world go by. You have quick and easy access to Covent Garden, the West End, the British Museum and many more. This is an unbeatable inner city location, softened by the surrounding green squares and gorgeous old buildings.
Me and my friends had a great time here. We found the flat suited our needs and our budget well. Good, safe part of London and it was close to where we needed to be. Easy to get around on foot or via public transport, which we found quite reliable. Cheers…

The flat was comfortable and the neighbourhood was charming. Bloomsbury is so perfect for walking around in. We also loved just getting on a bus…you see more that way. The underground is also useful, of course. Thankyou London Agent. Paul Bower and family, July 2014
The apt. on Gower St. was the perfect location for a three day stay in central London. An easy walk to the West End theaters, great eating in SoHo and shopping around Seven Dials. "Easy walk" is an important point when I discovered the cost of tube rides nowadays. "Walking" offers a huge cost savings for a visitor. The neighborhood is safe and comfortable with lots of theater students attending RADA and lots of good restaurants. Easy access to tube stops and buses as well as Euston and Kings Cross rail stations. The apartment is remarkably bright and clean and comfortable. It felt like it was just painted. It's fitted with just about anything you'd need. A fridge and a freezer. (Be careful not to confuse the two or - oops - frozen wine and clotted cream.) Leafy trees grow outside the windows of the bedrooms over a quiet patio, somewhat away from traffic noise. The one down side is - no lift! A three story walk-up is a drag after a long day in the city. Anyone with an elderly or disabled party member should consider other flats. This is not unusual in London, but still hard on the knees. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The booking process is concise. We'd book there again. Steve Andersen, Minneapolis, MN, USA
To the London Agent We have just returned from a 10 day stay at 45-7 Gower St. The apartment was perfect for us. It is not fancy, but clean and had everything we needed. The location is great for exploring the city, with 3 tube stops within walking distance, and a bus stop right across the street. There are numerous restaurants and a grocery store a few blocks away. The office was helpful in answering our questions, and made the process of checking in and out quick and easy. It would have been helpful if the pictures posted were actually of this apt; they appear to be of another apt in the same building. It would also have been helpful to know that this apt is on the 5th floor. All in all, we had a good experience, and would stay there again on future visits. Thank you, Ann Avalos, September 2013

Bloomsbury is dense with ancient buildings and famous garden squares but at the same time close to contemporary London and the famous sights and attractions. Many buildings survive from before the Great Fire of 1666, including the magnificent timber-framed facade of Staple Inn.
This lovely area is historically associated with the intelligentsia, social reformists and gifted writers. During the 18th and 19th centuries hospitals and universities were established in an area previously only fields and manor houses.
London's first home for abandoned children was established in 1739 -The Foundling Hospital - a period when most children in London died before the age of 5. Today there is a museum on the site and a children's play park with animals and paddling pool at Coram Field.
Bloomsbury also lent it's name to the Bloomsbury Group - a well known group of artists and writers who at the turn of the last century were politically outspoken, sexually uninhibited and Bohemian; its more famous members being Virginia Woolf and E. M. Forster.
Both the University of London and The British Museum are located in the area and continue the tradition of culture and learning. The British Museum houses a vast collection of artifacts of immense historical importance, the Rosetta Stone and the Egyptian mummies being perhaps best known.
Nearby Holborn is historically home to the legal profession. The four Inns of Court - Lincoln's Inn, Gray's Inn, the Inner Temple and the Middle Temple - were located here to symbolize the function of the law as 'referee' between the City and Westminster. The Inns are open to the public and offer a fantastic contrast to the modern busy city surrounding - medieval buildings, manicured lawns, quiet alleys and courtyards, plus busy, be-wigged lawyers.
When the ancient and the highbrow wear you out, take a break in one if the beautiful garden squares in the area - Russell Square, Bloomsbury Square, Gordon Square or Tavistock Square. Or launch into contemporary London - it's on your doorstep. Stroll down to the West End theatres, Covent Garden with it's famous Opera House, Soho, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace and Big Ben - all the famous London must see sights are within a short walk or tube ride.
