There is the possibility of a sofa bed in this flat to sleep two extra people; please request at time of booking.

The modern kitchen is open plan to the living area and has granite worktops. It is fully equipped including washer\dryer, dishwasher, microwave and clothes airer.
Upon arrival, you will find a breakfast pack containing tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, cereal and baked goodies.

Smart main bathroom with a tub and overhead shower, heated towel rail and underfloor heating. L'Occitane toiletries provided.
The ensuite bathroom has a walk in shower.

Neighbourhood

Borough is located on the fashionable South Bank of the river Thames within a short walk of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the Tate Modern Art Gallery. Borough was once the only borough (neighbourhood) outside the City of London - hence the name. Due to its prime river-side location and it's short distance to London Bridge it became a thriving and busy trading area. The energy, the hustle and the bustle, the wheeling and dealing continue to this day, giving this ever popular part of London an exciting and vibrant atmosphere.

Borough Market is famous and worth a visit. It truly is a foodies’ paradise, with food produce of all kinds at hand to tempt. Many of the areas very best eateries are to be found inside the market itself, but take the time to explore the environs outside. There are many hidden gems to be found. Other markets in the surrounding areas are also worth a visit. Bermondsey Antique Market in the fashionable Bermondsey Village is one such.

Ideally placed for access to the West End and the City, there are four underground stations: Southwark, Borough, London Bridge and Mansion House on the Jubilee, Northern, District and Circle lines. Frequent bus services and a regular river boat to Greenwhich, Canary Wharf or Westminster.

But one thing you don’t need to go to the West End for from here is the theatre. Some of the best and most established theatres are to found right here, such as the Old and Young Vic plus the National Theatre. A new and exciting theatre especially for children is also here, called The Unicorn, located near Tower Bridge. Walking along the Thames by the South Bank is always wonderful. This will take you to the Design Museum, Tate Modern, the Imperial War Museum, the Fashion and Textile Museum…all of these are a short distance from each other.

Borough is a real neighbourhood stuffed with history and culture and retains that fabulously busy, marketing way of life that has been its calling since Roman times. An exciting mix of the old and the new, loved by locals and visitors alike.

RATES

The total rate displayed includes exit cleaning and WiFi. Housekeeping service with linen change once a week is also included for stays of seven nights or more. VAT applies to this property and will be added to the nightly rate. UK VAT is currently 20% for the first 28 nights and 4% thereafter.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT

A security deposit to cover 'additional charges' including breakages, extra cleaning or further accommodation charges incurred during your stay may be taken.

CANCEL

For stays of 1 to 6 nights the notice period is 7 days prior to arrival date in order to avoid a cancellation charge equal to the total cost of the stay. No refund is applicable.
For stays of more than 7 nights' the notice period is 7 days prior to the date of arrival in order to avoid a minimum cancellation charge of 7 nights’ accommodation.
For stays of more than 29 nights' the notice period is 29 days prior to the arrival date to avoid a minimum cancellation charge of 14 nights’ accommodation.
These notice periods also apply to early departure, postponed arrival or reduction in the number of minimum nights stay.
For group bookings the minimum notice period and the cancellation charge per apartment, regardless of length of stay, is the same as for stays of 29 + nights
