East London is full of interesting contrasts - vibrant and multicultural, trendy and traditional, affluent and gritty. It has a wonderful and diverse range of people from bohemian artists, monied financiers to the original 'locals' i.e. Cockney Londoners with their charming and famous rhyming slang. If you feel the need to polish up on yours, rhyming-slang dictionaries can be purchased in all good London bookshops, and that's no pork pie!
The diverse and fascinating culture and history of the East End is due to the fact that the area saw various waves of Immigrants arrive over the centuries, each contributing hugely to the rich cultural depth and variety of the area.
In many parts of the East End you are close enough to all of the must-see London landmarks so that you don't waste time traveling but still removed enough to mingle with long term London residents and feel like a local.

In the immediate area head towards the lively local street markets of Columbia Road flower market, Brick Lane, Broadway Market, Spitalfields and Pettycoat Lane. Much loved by the locals, the area offers vibrant restaurants, music venues, bars and night life, as well as renowned galleries and museums - the Cube and Geffrye Museum being perhaps best known.

Whitechapel with it's infamous Jack the Ripper connections still has several pubs open today that were around in those terrible Ripper years, The Ten Bells and The Blind Beggar, for example. There are many excellent walking tours to be enjoyed in the East End which are richly interesting and informative and well worth taking. Nothing like being in situ while you learn, especially somewhere as atmospheric as the East End. The Whitechapel Art Gallery is also worth a visit.

From your home, take a leisurely stroll through the City to St Pauls, over the Millennium Bridge to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and lunch at the Tate Modern. Or head west and wonder around antique Bloomsbury, explore the wonderful treasures of the British Museum and pop in at one of the four Inns of Court to get a feel for medieval London. If you are feeling energetic there are many cycle paths along the canals which are great for poodling around on a lazy Sunday with a pit stop at the local pub.

The financial district – called the City -and Liverpool Street station with it’s excellent train connections are very convenient, plus a 24hr bus link service for easy access to the West End and beyond.

Your card will be will be pre-authorised by your card provider but will not be charged until your booking is confirmed by us. You will receive a confirmation email during our office hours: Monday - Friday 9.00 - 17.30 GMT.


For bookings of greater than 28 nights in length, we may ask you to pay a Security Deposit. The Security Deposit will be the equivalent of 28 nights at the occupation rate for the apartment type. We will keep hold of the Security Deposit while you stay with us and we’ll return it within 7 days of your departing, minus any deductions for damages, cleaning, replacement goods, unpaid accommodation or service fees.


Bookings of 1-6 nights – 72 hours notice required for a full refund.
Bookings of 7-27 nights – 7 days notice required for a full refund.
Bookings of 28+ nights – 14 days notice required for a full refund.
All cancellations must be confirmed in writing.  


Standard arrival time is: 14.00
Standard departure time is: 11.00
To guarantee an early arrival please book the night before. Likewise, if you want to stay later than the standard departure time, please book that day.


Only people listed on the booking form are permitted to stay at the property. No smoking as standard in all London short term rentals. No parties and no pets.


The property provider is a well established serviced apartment provider. They are based in London and will be your point of contact for the duration of your stay.
