Description

Contemporary and crisp, Super Nice Clerkenwell is a bright and modern short let London home in a stylish new development. Well furnished with comfortable modern classics and conveniently near to both Farringdon and Barbican stations.

LIVING ROOM
The light and spacious living room offers comfy sofas, dining table and chairs for six, large screen TV, WiFi and a balcony. Floor to ceiling double glazing allows fabulous west facing views over the City and will give you an energising, king of the castle feeling.

BEDROOMS
Both of the peaceful bedrooms face the rear, central courtyard. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and ample storage. The second bedroom offers twin beds and built in wardrobes. Quality linen, newly laundered and pressed, is provided for each stay.

KITCHEN
The smart and modern kitchen is open-plan to the living room with all machines including ceramic hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. There are three bar stools under the breakfast bar.

BATHROOMS
A fully tiled and stylish bathroom is en-suite to the master bedroom. It has a large walk-in shower, WC & basin. The second modern bathroom is adjacent to the second bedroom and offers a bath, telephone shower, WC and basin. Starter toiletries and fluffy white towels are provided as standard.

OUTSIDE SPACE
The balcony is directly off the living room and great for observing the hustle and bustle of London at work.

TRANSPORT
- Farringdon station - mainline trains plus Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City Line - a five minute walk away
- Barbican station - Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith and City Line - all in travel zone 1 - a seven minute walk.
- Chancery Lane - Central line - fifteen minute walk.
- All in travel zone 1
- There are several car parking garages in the immediate area however we do not recommend that you bring a car to central London.
- Black taxi's are plentiful in this area and can easily be hailed on the corner of the street.

LOCATION
Clerkenwell is a convenient central London location in close proximity to the City, Bloomsbury, Shoreditch, Hoxton and Islington. There are great local amenities, numerous restaurants and supermarkets, plus historic and important cultural attractions. The Barbican is up the road, Hatton Gardens is around the corner and you can walk to St Paul’s in 15 minutes. Farringdon station is one of the largest and best connected in London and only one stop to Kings Cross / St Pancras. This is an authentic London pied-à-terre, much loved by the home owners and neat as a new pin.

Dear London Agent. We had a very pleasant and convenient stay at the Clerkenwell home. The home is well equipped with kitchen tableware and utensils. The home is very clean and supplied with towels and necessary bathroom soaps. The three beds were perfect for our group of three people and the two bathrooms allowed us to get ready simultaneously in the morning for a quicker start to a long day of touring London. With the windows and sliding glass door open the home cooled down quickly in the evening for a relaxed time at the end of each long day. The location is very convenient to the Tube station with three lines running through the Farringdon station for a quick trip to any part of London. It would be nice to have a larger range of time to meet at the home to allow arriving visiters the option of transportation to the home rather than a private driver from the airport for late arrivals but this was a minor item. Easy to reach if you come by Eurostar, ideally located in front of Farringdon Underground station. The flat was in a perfect location and easily accessible to the Farringdon tube station. The flat was comfortable and easily accommodated the three of us. Our Clerkenwell home was just terrific. The pictures online don't do it justice. Very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. This home was in a perfect and safe location with Farringdon tube station across the street, a 24 hr grocery store a block away and many great restaurants within walking distance. This location made it very easy to travel throughout London and see the sites. The home had 2 lovely bedrooms and a Aero Bed which comfortably slept a family of 5 adults. Well equipped and modern kitchen made it easy for quick meals. Lovely contemporary baths with extras. (Loved the blow dryer for my hair) This home had many great books and maps which were very useful in planning our day trips. Jennifer was very patient and helpful with a few issues we had upon arrival which were taken care of in a timely matter. Will definitely recommend this place to others. "A very comfortable home base in London" We stayed 6 nights in this well equipped and clean apartment next to the Farringdon station. It is spacious for 4 people, and the kitchen was well equipped. It would have been nicer if a microwave was available. My daughter didn't want to share a bed so she slept on the blow-up mattress which she said was comfortable. The wifi worked well only in the living room area; the signal was too week in the bedrooms. We found the location to be very convenient. Bus #55 on Clerkenwell Rd, just up the street & a couple of minutes' walk, took us to the Oxford Street shopping area. Bus #63 on Farringdon Rd took us to King's Cross. There is a Tesco Express on Farringdon Rd, but you can find 2 larger supermarkets (Waitrose and Tesco Express) on St. John Street (~5 minutes' walk up aylesbury St which is off Clerkenwell). While being next to Farringdon station was convenient, it was also noisy when the living room sliding door was open. You could hear the trains and station announcements. It bothered me the first day, but got used to it. It was fine when the windows were closed. The bedrooms were set in the back so it was quiet there. London Agent was terrific to deal with - no problems at all, and our Heathrow airport pick-up was waiting when we arrived! The apartment has lift access from ground floor - something that we appreciated more and more as our stair-climbing with suitcases continued across Europe! Fifth bed is a blow up mattress, but was reportedly very comfortable. The apartment was actually larger than we expected - only thing that was missing was a micro-wave. Access to the rest of London was great - easy walk to St Pauls area, London Museum, Guildhall, etc, and interesting to explore the immediate local area (Pubs, Meat Market, Clerkenwell Green, Order of St John of Jerusalem buildings, etc - I am a dedicated researcher and love to find out about an area before going there!) It's on the railway line, but we did not have any issues with noise - double glazed windows , door to small balcony. Less than two minutes walk to the Farringdon railway station which is on the Circle Line (and has lift / elevator access to platforms - an important consideration with kids and luggage). Allows easy access to almost anywhere in London - the connectivity is terrific through the Tube interchanges, and it is only a couple of stops from the Tower of London, and one stop from Kings Cross / St Pancras if you are connecting to / from Eurostar to Paris / Brussels. We (a couple and 3 children) stayed at the Super Nice Clerkenwell Home for 5 nights/6 days and (apart a damaged wooden floor due to a flood caused by the previous tenant) we really enjoyed our stay. We were close to a tube station (Farringdon) and getting around London was very easy. In the appartment nothing was missing; the kitchen had everything we might need. Our stay in the apartment & London itself was great. Everything was discussed in advance with Jennifer easy & without any problems. She gave us prompt answers with all details which we should know or ask for. At the arrival date a meeter-greeter opened the door & shortly explained the apartment. We were come for holidays (we are french). We wanted a pretty flat near a tube station. The flat is just in front of "Farringdon" station and this flat was perfect for holidays. Clean, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I don't have any problem.

"Super Nice Stay" This apartment is great, on the circle line and a small walk to bus stops. The area has plenty of supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. Only down side is no microwave and no clothes dryer. Otherwise it had everything and a very comfortable place to spend 9 days in London, good wifi good lounge, beds etc and nice and warm if it is cold outside. I would prefer to stay here than any hotel in London. If you are travelling with children this is the place for you. It was a pleasure staying at the Clerkenwell apartment. It is ideally located in a fun and historic central neighborhood, directly across from a useful tube station. It is a lovely space as well, with well proportioned space and nice decorations. The renting agency was very helpful and flexible when we arrived late after driving in from Wales. "Exceeded our expectations in size, comfort, and convenience". Very nice location next to the underground's Circle Line. Comfort and quiet for sleeping, but plenty to do in the neighborhood and within short ride on underground. Plenty of room for four adults, including large sitting room. Clerkenwell is a vibrant and sought after area of central London on the edge of the City, a popular area enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. There's lots to do to help you spend all that cash made in the City and keen shoppers can find anything from antique collectables and works of art, to good local produce - Exmouth Market being a fine example and just a stone's throw away. On Clerkenwell Road you will find many of London's finest and most famous restaurants. The entire area is rich in gastro pubs and Italian Delis so come prepared to shop, eat and generally have a good time.

Hand in hand with commerce and high finance goes culture and Europe’s largest art and conference venue is your neighbour - the renowned Barbican Arts Centre. This prominent venue is the home of the London Symphony Orchestra and hosts contemporary and classical music, Opera, theatre and innovative visual art installations.

Exploring east move towards Hoxton and the lively local street markets of Columbia Road flower market, Brick Lane, Broadway Market, Spitalfields and Pettycoat Lane. REFUNDABLE DAMAGE DEPOSIT

The damage deposit is refundable within two weeks after departure.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

You may cancel your booking forty-two nights or more before the start and receive a 50% refund of the total rent. If you cancel less than forty two nights before your stay we will make our best effort to re-let the home and offer you a pro-rata refund. However, this can not be guaranteed and we urge you to have travel insurance in place.

Standard departure time is: 10.00
If we do not have people leaving the day that you arrive it may be possible to move in before 14.00, but we can not guarantee this. To ensure an early arrival please book the night before.
For arrivals that are after office hours, on weekends and on public holidays a £40.00 fee applies. Alternatively you may book our chauffeur who will have keys to your apartment for access.
On your day of departure it is possible to leave luggage at the flat until 13.00 but we will need the flat clear of people by 10.00 so that housekeeping can do their job. If you want to stay later than the standard departure time, please book that day.

PROHIBITED

Only people listed on the booking form are permitted to stay at the property. No smoking as standard in all London short term rentals. No parties and no pets.
