Kensington Comeragh is an attractive short let London home, stumbling distance to West Kensington station. Recently refurbished with the help of a well regarded architect, this is a fresh and modern two bedroom flat with the added benefit of it’s own private patio.

LIVING AREA
The living area is spacious with high ceilings, wooden floors, lots of natural light from large windows and a fireplace. There is a comfortable seating area with a large sofa, coffee table and armchair, plus a handy desk area tucked away in a corner of the room. There is a dining table and seating for up to six people adjacent to the kitchen.

KITCHEN
The galley kitchen is modern and fully equipped, including a washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine.

BEDROOMS
Both bedrooms are light and welcoming with large windows facing the rear patio. The master bedroom has a king sized bed and the other a double bed. Newly laundered bedding and linen is included in your stay.

BATHROOM
The smart bathroom has a heated towel rail and a tub with overhead shower. There is also a separate WC. Towels and soap are provided as standard.

OUTDOOR SPACE
The tiled patio is charming with outdoor furniture, pot plants and a BBQ. A peaceful spot to relax.

TRANSPORT
- West Kensington Underground - on the District line - under five minutes walk.
- Baron's Court Underground - on the Piccadilly and District lines - under 5 minutes walk.
- Both are in travel zone 2.

GENERAL
Kensington Comeragh is fully furnished and equipped with linen, towels, kitchenware and Wifi. This short let London basement flat has it's own entrance and sleeps up to five people in a king sized bed, a double bed and a single sofa bed.

AREA
West Kensington is a community orientated part of central London. Enjoy some great local pubs, shops and restaurants - the curtains up pub even has a mini theatre. Local shops cater for your daily needs and there is a well known butcher around the corner. From here you have easy access to High Street Kensington and Holland Park, plus all the famous museums of the area. Travel on the Piccadilly Line to Heathrow directly into the West End - it is swift and easy. Tennis fans may enjoy being so close to Queens Tennis Club. This is a well loved home, used regularly by the owners when they are working in London, and neat as a new pin!

Neighbourhood

Kensington is an unbeatable central London location, home to the world class museums of South Kensington such as the Victoria & Albert, the Natural History and Science Museum. The Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park are also a manageable walk, or bus ride away. Kensington High Street is the area’s commercial centre, with shops, café’s, restaurants and entertainment venues galore! Quick and convenient bus service into the west end from here, or nip over to the famous boutiques and department stores of nearby Chelsea and Knightsbridge.

Kensington Gardens is one of London's loveliest parks. Perfect for strolling (or running) through, it runs directly into Hyde Park or takes you over to Notting Hill. Take the kids along to find the famous statue of Peter Pan. He is elusive and not easy to locate; but it's all part of the magic. Some children believe he flies around at night, settling in a new part of the park every morning! The Princess Diana Memorial Gardens with it's fountains are also to be found in this part of the park.

The beautiful royal residence of Kensington Palace is to be found inside Kensington Gardens. This palace is home to Prince William and his family and more recently, Prince Harry! The state rooms and palace gardens are open to the public. There is a Palace Café with a children’s menu and a shop selling souvenirs and memorabilia.

Looming large across from the park is another royal presence: The Royal Albert Hall, built to promote understanding and appreciation of the arts and sciences. This grand and magnificent building has fulfilled this mission beautifully and consistently since 1871, and is a very popular venue with young and old alike!

West Kensington W14 is a largely residential area with good local amenities, shops and markets. The architecture here is note-worthy, with buildings and whole streets listed! The markets and restaurants of North End Road are diverse and busy. Baron's Court boasts many Victorian terraces and impressive mansion blocks. The Olympia Exhibition Centre opened in1886; this impressive building was once the largest of it's kind in the world and attracts huge crowds.

Visit the famous Queen's Tennis Club and Baron's Court Theatre, a popular attraction which is located inside The Curtains Up pub.

Pleasant neighbours such as Hammersmith, Fulham, Earl's Court, West Brompton and Shepherd's Bush, all with their own eateries, theatres, music venues, open spaces and shopping malls, make this area and it's surroundings a fun, friendly and interesting place to stay.

REFUNDABLE DAMAGE DEPOSIT

The damage deposit is refundable within two weeks after departure.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

You may cancel your booking forty-two nights or more before the start and receive a 50% refund of the total rent.
If you cancel less than forty two nights before your stay we will make our best effort to re-let the home and offer you a pro-rata refund. However, this can not be guaranteed and we urge you to have travel insurance in place.

Standard arrival time is: 14.00
Standard departure time is: 10.00
If we do not have people leaving the day that you arrive it may be possible to move in before 14.00, but we can not guarantee this. To ensure an early arrival please book the night before.
We can accommodate late arrival without extra charges.
On your day of departure it is possible to leave luggage at the flat until 13.00 but we will need the flat clear of people by 10.00 so that housekeeping can do their job. If you want to stay later than the standard departure time, please book that day.

PROHIBITED

Only people listed on the booking form are permitted to stay at the property.
No smoking as standard in all London short term rentals.
